Our
cooking cruises offer you the chance to discover the pleasures of
traditional Venetian cuisine while exploring the undiscovered havens
of the lagoon and its hinterland.
This
six-day cruise crosses the lagoon before reaching Venice.
Dishes
combine simple Chioggia recipes, which had to last long days at
sea, with the wealth of Venetian cuisine, adding a touch of spice
and flavour from the East to the most simple of dishes.
1st day: Transfer from airport to Chioggia
to the Grande Italia hotel
Dinner at Le baruffe Chioggiotte restaurant. Visit to
Chioggia.
2nd day:
Trip to the fish market to buy the fish for our cooking lesson.
Sailing on the lagoon towards Venice
Lunch on board based on the lesson menu. Stop in the afternoon at
Villa Cadel Borgo in Malamocco
Dinner and night at the Villa..
3rd day: Sailing to Sant Erasmo
to see local produce
Cooking lesson and lunch at Valle Perini, one of the oldest private
fishing and hunting areas of the lagoon still using traditional fishing
traps.
Return to Torcello for the night at Villa San Giovanni
Dinner at Cipriani Torcello.
4th
day: Visit to Torcello
Cooking lesson on board
Sailing to Venice where we arrive in time for lunch in front of Saint
Marks
Transfer to the Contarini Palace
Dinner at the Palazzo hosted by Countess Fulvia Sesani.
5th
day
The day is free for relaxing in Venice. If you are interested, our
guide offers a morning tour exploring the citys hidden treasures.
