to the cultural phenomenon that was the Venetian Villa.
On
your arrival, you will be transferred to the Palazzo Contarini, a beautiful
private fourtenth century palace in Venice where you will spend the next
three nights. The palace has been built from the Contarini family (the family
give the the republic 8 "Doge"), at the end of the 14 th.
The palace has been restored 4 years ago to offer a complete relax to the
guests with it's genuine antiques, fine canopies, tapestries, carpets, glasses
to promote a timeless elegance, blending effortlessy with every confort..
In
the palace you got 12 appartments top level with private bathroom. It is
around 5/10 minutes walking from S. Marco Square.
There will be time to relax after your journey before dining on board of
Eolo, the only still in navigation "Bragozzo" recently restored
to cruise the Venetian Lagoon.
This
morning we board EOLO for a cruise towards the beautiful island of Sant.
Erasmo, one of the lagoon's biggest producer of fruit and vegetables. During
the cruise we will stop for the lunch to the remote Valle Perini, the only
fishing ground to have adhered to the traditional method of fishing.
As
we return towards Venice for sunset, there will be timefor an aperitivo
before dinner on board of Eolo. We end our tour by sailing into the heart
of Venice where we will stay on the island of San Giorgio, opposite the
Ducal Palace and St. Marks square, offering one of the most celebrated views
of Venice.

This
morning we cruise on the Brenta Canal, the renowned water-way which linked
the Venetian aristocrat to his Venetian Villa.
We visit the stunning eighteenth century Villa Pisani at Strà.
Afterwards we will visit the Molini di Dolo, the antique mill which
is situated at Dolo, a lovely town situated on the Brenta which probably
dates from the 13th century. For lunch we stop at the Villa Nani Mocenigo.
As we approach the Venetian lagoon we come to one of Palladio's most celebrated
villas, and one of the most famous Venetian Villas, the Villa Malcontenta.
Here we stop for a private visit to see the famous frescoes which cover
every inch of the Villa.
